It begins with a conversation with me. No forms and no questionnaire. I handle the approach, the discretion, the timing and the introduction, for as long as the search runs.

I was raised by high school sweethearts. My parents met at fourteen and sixteen, two years apart to the day, and married on their shared birthday. April 18th has been a sacred date in my family for nearly thirty-five years. That is the standard I grew up measuring every relationship against, and it is the standard I hold for my clients.

I was a Division I athlete and a champion springboard diver. Diving is a sport decided by judges, in tenths, on execution you cannot fake. I learned to hold a standard before I learned anything else.

I went to the University of Notre Dame for a degree in finance, then took a Masters in Education, because coaching diving had quietly become the thing I loved most. I taught first grade and kindergarten in the South Bronx for four years. Four years of reading people who cannot yet explain themselves, which turns out to be most of what this work is.

Then I moved to the UAE with two suitcases, and stayed because this is a place that promotes on merit rather than longevity. Before thirty I had become a national teacher trainer, a school leader and a published author.

In 2019 I made Dubai home. Over two hundred nationalities live here. You can date the entire map.

In 2020 I started writing publicly about what dating in this region was actually like. People agreed. They had identified the problem, so I built the solution.

I founded Christiana Maxion Matchmaking on one principle: elite dating here deserved a discreet and intentional alternative to what existed. Within six months I was across regional and international press. Within eight, Erica Arrechea and Annie Garmendia invited me to join CINQE, the global matchmaking collective.

Working alongside CINQE taught me what a global network can do for a single client, and where it stops. Today I am building my own, with lead matchmakers in the cities my clients live in and search from, and searches that run wherever the answer happens to be. Dubai based. Global reach.

I did not enter this industry. I helped redefine it.
