This Privacy Policy shall be effective from 24 April 2026.
1.1 CHRISTIANA MAXION SOLUTIONS LIFESTYLE DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANCY, a company duly registered with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and licensed under commercial license number CN-4443231 (“CMSLDC”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how we collect, use, store and share it.
1.2 This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected when you visit our website at christianamaxion.com (the “Website”) and when you register as a Candidate or Client to use our matchmaking Services (the “Privacy Policy”). It should be read together with our Terms and User Agreement available on our Website, which is incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference.
1.3 CMSLDC is a company which is registered and operates in the UAE. The primary legal framework governing the Processing of your personal information is UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “UAE PDPL”) and any associated implementing or executive regulations.
1.4 We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Any amendments will take effect immediately upon being posted on the Website. The Effective Date indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of any revised Privacy Policy (from time to time) constitutes your acceptance of those changes and adherence to the same.
1.5 All capitalised terms in this clause 1 will have the meanings set out in clause 2.1.
2.1 In this Privacy Policy, the following words and expressions have the meanings set out below:
“Candidate” means an individual who registers on the Website to join our database and to be potentially matched with a Client as part of the Candidate Services, whether or not a fee is payable; “Candidate Services” means the services provided by CMSLDC to Candidates, including registration on the database and facilitation of introductions to Clients; “Client” means an individual who contacts CMSLDC and applies to purchase a matchmaking package as part of the Client Services; “Client Services” means the paid matchmaking services provided by CMSLDC to Clients pursuant to a separate Private Matchmaking Agreement; “CMSLDC” has the meaning given to it in clause 1.1; “Controller” has the meaning given to it under the UAE PDPL; “Effective Date” means the date of this Privacy Policy at the time at which the Website is accessed; “Personal Data” has the meaning given to it under the UAE PDPL; “Privacy Policy” has the meaning given to it in clause 1.2; “Private Matchmaking Agreement” means a separate written agreement entered into between CMSLDC and a Client governing the terms of the Client Services; “Processing” has the meaning given to it under the UAE PDPL and cognate terms such as “Process” and “Processed” shall be construed accordingly; “Sensitive Personal Data” means Personal Data that is considered sensitive under the UAE PDPL; “Services” means, collectively, the Candidate Services and the Client Services, as the context may require; “UAE” means the United Arab Emirates; “UAE PDPL” has the meaning given to it in clause 1.3; and “Website” has the meaning given to it in clause 1.2.
2.2 Interpretation. In this Privacy Policy: (a) reference to a “clause” is a reference to a clause to this Privacy Policy unless otherwise specified; (b) the word “including” and words of a similar effect shall not affect the generality of the preceding words; (c) references to persons shall include bodies corporate, unincorporated associations and partnerships, in each case whether or not having a separate legal personality; (d) words imposing the singular shall also include the plural and vice versa where the context requires; (e) where figures are referred to as numerals and words, if there is any conflict between the two, the words shall prevail; (f) a reference to any law means such law as amended, modified, codified, replaced or re-enacted; and (g) all headings or captions contained in this Privacy Policy are for convenience or reference only, do not form a part of this Privacy Policy and shall not affect in any way the meaning or interpretation of this Privacy Policy.
3.1 CMSLDC is the Controller of Personal Data collected through the Website and the Services for the purposes of the UAE PDPL and, where applicable, other applicable data protection laws.

4.1 This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Website, including: (a) individuals who are applying to register as Candidates and join CMSLDC’s database free of charge, for the purpose of being considered for introductions to Clients; and (b) individuals who are applying to become Clients and purchase a matchmaking package from CMSLDC.
4.2 Certain provisions of this Privacy Policy only apply to either: (i) Candidates; or (ii) Clients. These provisions will be clearly indicated. Where no such distinction is made, the relevant provision applies to all users of the Website whether Clients or Candidates.
4.3 Clients will, in addition to this Privacy Policy, be required to enter into a Private Matchmaking Agreement with CMSLDC governing the specific terms under which the Client Services will be provided. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Private Matchmaking Agreement, the Private Matchmaking Agreement shall prevail in respect of the provision of the Client Services.
5.1 We collect Personal Data by virtue of the information that you provide to us voluntarily. When you register as a Candidate or apply to become a Client, you may be asked to provide: (a) your first and last name; (b) your email address; (c) your telephone number; (d) your age and date of birth; (e) your gender and sexual orientation; (f) your racial or ethnic origin; (g) photographs; (h) your personal aspirations, relationship goals and dating history; (i) your preferred cities or locations for dating; and (j) any other information you choose to provide in connection with the Services.
5.2 Some of the information listed above (including racial or ethnic origin, sexual orientation and personal relationship history) may constitute Sensitive Personal Data under the UAE PDPL. You provide such information voluntarily for the purpose of receiving the Services. You may choose not to provide this information, however in doing so, this may limit our ability to provide certain aspects of the Services.
5.3 By submitting Sensitive Personal Data, you provide us with your explicit consent to its Processing for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We Process Sensitive Personal Data only for the purposes of providing the Services and not for advertising or profiling unrelated to the Services.
5.4 When you access the Website, we may collect certain information automatically, including: (a) your internet protocol address and approximate location; (b) the type and version of browser and device you use; (c) the pages you visit and the duration of your visit; (d) the website from which you arrived; and (e) information collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in clause 6.
5.5 You also acknowledge that we may receive information about you from third parties, such as through links on the Website or our business partners, in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
6.1 Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies on the Website to help us understand how users interact with it, to personalise your experience, and to support our business operations.
6.2 We use both session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a longer period). We use persistent cookies to: (a) manage customer support interactions; (b) understand user behaviour and site usage; and (c) support web analytics.
6.3 You can remove persistent cookies by following the instructions in your browser’s help settings. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use the Website, although some features may not function as intended.
6.4 Our third-party service providers may also use cookies on the Website. We do not have access to or control over those cookies, and their use is governed by the relevant third parties’ privacy policies.
7.1 We Process the Personal Data we collect in accordance with the provisions of the PDPL and for the following purposes: (a) to provide and improve the Services, including facilitating introductions between Candidates and Clients; (b) to assess your suitability as a Candidate or as a Client; (c) to present the Website and its content to you; (d) to communicate with you about your registration, application or participation in the Services; (e) to complete transactions initiated by you; (f) to send marketing or promotional communications where you have consented to receive them; (g) to comply with our legal obligations; (h) to protect the safety and security of our Candidates and Clients and the Website; (i) to understand and improve the performance of the Website; and (j) for any other purpose for which you have consented.
7.2 We do not use your Personal Data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects without your consent.
8.1 We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your Personal Data to third parties, except as described in this Privacy Policy.
8.2 We may share your Personal Data in the following circumstances: (a) we may share your profile details, photographs and other relevant information with prospective matches within our private network for the purpose of facilitating introductions. By registering as a Candidate or applying as a Client, you consent to this sharing as described in our Terms and User Agreement; (b) we may share your profile details, photographs and other relevant information with carefully selected third-party matchmakers within our wider professional network, on a confidential basis, for the sole purpose of facilitating an introduction on your behalf. Such third parties will not have direct access to our database and will be required to keep your information confidential. By registering as a Candidate or applying as a Client, you consent to this sharing as described in this Privacy Policy; (c) we may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who perform operational or administrative functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, customer relationship management and communications services. These providers are permitted to use your Personal Data only for the purpose of providing their services to us and are required to keep it confidential; and (d) we may disclose your information where required to do so by applicable laws, regulation, or court order or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights or safety of any person, investigate fraud or respond to a government or law enforcement request to which we are legally obliged to respond.
8.3 CMSLDC shall not be responsible for any use or disclosure of your confidential information by any Candidate or Client once such information has been lawfully shared for the purposes of providing the Services.
9.1 We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
9.2 We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect your Personal Data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, destruction or disclosure, including the use of encryption where technically feasible. The specific security measures in place may be updated from time to time as our systems and platforms develop and this Privacy Policy shall be revised accordingly.
9.3 Member profiles, photographs and application materials are currently stored and managed through SmartMatchApp, our third-party customer relationship management platform. We may update the platforms used to store and manage Personal Data from time to time. Where we do so, we will ensure that appropriate data security and confidentiality obligations are in place with any new platform provider and we shall update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
9.4 Whilst we take reasonable steps to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
9.5 In the event of a Personal Data breach that is likely to affect your rights or interests, we will notify you as required by the UAE PDPL.
9.6 Where Personal Data is transferred outside of the UAE, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with the UAE PDPL.
10.1 We will retain your Personal Data for as long as is necessary to provide the Services to you or to comply with our legal obligations as they relate to the provision of those Services or the holding of your Personal Data. Where your Personal Data is no longer required for these purposes, we will securely delete or anonymise it.
10.2 If you request the deletion of your account or profile, we will delete your Personal Data unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
11.1 As a Controller under the UAE PDPL, CMSLDC Processes your Personal Data in compliance with the UAE PDPL. Subject to the conditions and limitations of the UAE PDPL, you have the following rights in respect of your Personal Data: (a) to request a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you; (b) to request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data; (c) to request the deletion of your Personal Data where we no longer have a lawful basis for Processing it; (d) to request that we restrict the Processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances; (e) to object to our Processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances; and (f) to receive a copy of your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
11.2 To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at love@christianamaxion.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by the UAE PDPL.
11.3 If you have concerns about how we handle your Personal Data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in the UAE.
12.1 The Website is accessible globally. If you are located outside of the UAE, please be aware that your Personal Data will be transferred to and Processed in the UAE, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
12.2 By using the Website and providing your Personal Data, you acknowledge this transfer and Processing.
12.3 Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under your local data protection laws in addition to those described in clause 11. We endeavour to comply with applicable data protection laws across the jurisdictions from which our Website is accessed. If you have any questions about your rights under the laws of your jurisdiction, we encourage you to seek independent local legal advice.
13.1 The Website may contain links to third party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
13.2 Social media features and widgets on the Website may collect your internet protocol address and other information and may set cookies. Your interactions with those features are governed by the privacy policy of the relevant third party.
14.1 By providing your email address or telephone number, you consent to receiving communications from CMSLDC via email, telephone, WhatsApp or SMS in connection with the Services.
14.2 Please be aware that communications sent via WhatsApp are processed by Meta Platforms Inc., the operator of WhatsApp, in accordance with its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Meta’s privacy policy for information about how your data is handled on that platform. WhatsApp messages may be stored on the devices of both parties to the communication. You should be aware of this, particularly given the sensitive nature of the personal information that may be discussed in connection with the Services.
14.3 You may opt out of receiving such communications at any time by contacting us at love@christianamaxion.com or by following the unsubscribe instructions in any communication we send to you.
14.4 If you opt out of communications from CMSLDC, we reserve the right to treat this as a withdrawal from the Services and to terminate your participation as a Candidate or Client accordingly.
15.1 You may request that we update, correct or deactivate your account or profile at any time by contacting us at love@christianamaxion.com.
16.1 By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use and sharing of your Personal Data as described herein.
16.2 If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Website or submit any Personal Data to us.
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre. Any dispute arising in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts.
